ZARDOZ FINISHES '70 KELLOGG'S SET - CROWD GOES WILD

Our very own Zardoz has completed his 1970 Kellogg's 3-D set in PSA 9 or better, and has moved into second place on the Registry. This is no easy feat, and I would personally like to congratulate Zardoz on the outstanding accomplishment image!

For those who don't look at the Misc. category, he also added a lot of high-grade cards to his 1956 Adventure set (greatly expanding his lead over 2nd place).
    Great job, Paul.
Now see if you can get PSA to fix those funky card titles for the Adenture cards. image

    Congratulations Paul!

I agree with Gemmintman that this is no easy set. I'm 9 cards away from finishing myself and have been working on this set for over a year now.

    Looking for:
Any high grade OPC Jim Palmer
    High grade Redskins (pre 1980)
  • Thanks a lot guys. I appreciate your comments and support. I thought that putting the set in high grade would be a shake n'bake deal. Ha!, nothing could be further from the truth as several of the Kellogg's collectors on this board will testify. I'd like to thank all of the collectors that I have bought and traded with to get to this spot.

Boggsey, yep when I saw that 100%. I genuinely got that "warm fuzzy feeling"

    ZARDOZ - Congratulations!
As I guy working on 17 registry sets, I have no idea what 100% feels like.
Perhaps your buddy, Nipper will do a feature about you!image ...jay
  • Thanks Jay

With all the comments regarding my other sets, I'm starting to feel as though I'm being stalked with my every move being watched. it's a good job that my 1966 Fleer Gomer Pyle set isn't on the registry image

Nipper only shows here when his SCD world is being critiqued, too bad really, he has a wealth of information that he just doesn't have time to share with us peasants.

<< <i>You are one of the elite now! >>

Z, I don't think a 100% set qualifies you as elite. You reached that status long ago by who you are, not what you have.

That being said, 100% is damn cool. Congratsimage
