1935 D Buffalo. Is this RPM FS 502? Or pmd?

I was wondering if any buffalo experts could chime in on whether or not this is the cherry pickers variety? Or just pmd or my imagination.

I don't see it - the 502 is a straight vertical repunching while your example has some tilt to it.
.
glad i checked. i initially just agreed with you because, you know, well, you're correct.
BUT, i notice on V V that stage C shows some weird tilting going on. at the same time, i'm not sure i agree with stage C being the LDS of this rpm. he obviously has FAR more experience with these things and i cannot put up a compelling counter-debate.

personally, if i was to try to sell/officially attribute a stage b/c or whatever, other than stage A examples, i'd probably get some official confirmation, probably from the coneca forum since wiles isn't accepting submissions.

I see what you're saying. No matter the case, however, that stage C image still doesn't match the OP coin unfortunately. To me, the mintmark in stage C still looks the same, but the polishing or wear of the dies has removed the innermost part of the repunching which makes it look different.
I also felt like the tilt was off, but I saw this attributed one on coinfacts so I wanted additional opinions.

I snagged this coin as a low grade normal example and only noticed the mint mark when I open the package.

.
that, without question, looks like a match for stage C.
I believe you mean the CoinFacts coin, right?
