One of my all time favorite shows ….Leave it to Beaver.

Post a coin between 1957, first show of Leave it to Beaver aired and 1963 when the last show aired. June, Ward, and Eddie Haskell have all passed leaving the Beaver, Jerry Mathers as the lone surviving main cast member. Tony will be missed. RIP 🌹

His wife 'believed' he was dead. Very sad.

I recall hearing that somewhere before!

One of my favorite shows too. I watch them almost every morning.
The Family Entertainment network is back to the beginning episodes when the kids were little.
    It's just the best !

Roku has every episode free. One of the best station for old stuff but you have to sit through commercials just like when you were a kid. Only thing missing is yelling at someone to get up and adjust the horizontal hold.

Sounds like very difficult times for the family in either case.
I love that show as well and still occasionally watch reruns.
    Yes, I know I’m a bit old and a little corny. ;-)

    Tony Dow in hospice.
In 1975, Jerry Mathers lived in the fraternity next door to mine. When he showed up on campus after military service you did a double take and then realized it was THE BEAV.

    Have a nice day

What's the real scoop here? I've been reading that he's still alive. His wife just thought he was dead. WHAT?!?! 😲
It reminds me of an old Mark Twain quote. I'm expecting Wally to issue a press release at any moment now..... Something along the lines of..... "Rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated." 😵

He's in hospice care and in very bad shape from what I've read.

As Tony Dow is still alive, can we change the title of this thread ?

    Echos of General Francisco Franco....

In any case, this extended exit for Tony Dow gives people a chance to send a few thoughts and memories his way.

As of a few minutes ago, Tony Dow is now really really REALLY dead.

I guess yesterday was a miscommunication of some sort.

    RIP.

Now I have a craving to watch some Leave it to Beaver episodes, just to see Wally again. This thread is giving me a 'Dow jones'.
