Margo Russell of Coin World

Hi All,

I recently learned that a good friend of mine is the daughter of Margo Russell, who was the editor of Coin World from 1962-1985.

I'm new here, having found this community when researching the few coins of my Dad's that I found while going through his old collectibles trunk. Anyway, I have noticed there are a lot of "Old-timers" here (term of respect), and wanted to see if anyone had any stories or nice comments about Margo that I could pass along to my friend.

    I don't have any personal anecdotes, but she was legendary in that role, at least to me, as her tenure concluded with my formative years in coin collecting.
