Double Hole Denmark 1 Ore

G'day team,

This is my first post here. Recently got a big lot of coins in, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, South Africa, to name a few.

Noticed this 1 Ore coin had a second hole in it. Wore as a necklace perhaps? Would love to know why, as there seems to be nothing special about the coin.

Would love to know your thoughts!

The hole at the top was drilled through the coin after it left the mint. It's considered damaged. Why was it done? Who knows.

Sometimes 2 holes are put in a coin so that t can be used as a button too.
