A new piece from the salty depths.
Q: When does a collector become a numismatist?
A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.
A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.

That's not too bad for an El Cazador piece. The Gulf of Mexico was not kind to most of them.
Really fascinating story behind that wreck.
That’s what drew me to this piece. Already had a few in the collection but not this nice.
Thanks!

I like it! Of course the churning seas had to effect the date. Peace Roy

Some El Cazador salvage is pretty decent.
I got that one because I ...lost... my 1776 "special" date.
Soon as I got it, I found the 76.
Oh well. Both are okay with me.
