Question: Can you submit mixed years 95 and earlier/96 to present in the new $18 a card submissions?

Putting my sub together now, and I can only check the box for 95 and earlier, or 96 to the present for the $18 special. I thought we were allowed to mix all years, but maybe that is not the case? What is the verdict with this?

No. When you go to submit it is two different categories. So 20+ of each

    Looking for FB HOF Rookies

Hiya fellas, I’m just realizing this while about to put my order into the system. I’ve already packaged up at least 20 ‘95 and earlier, and at least 20 ‘96 and later to be submitted under this same special, so having to do 20’of each isn’t my problem. The problem is, the years are all packaged mixed years throughout. If I’m understanding this thread and what I’m seeing now when trying to put them in on computer, I will have 2 separate order numbers (even though the psa site says all years for this special!). I am not at all wanting to tear everything up and package again, how big a problem do you think it is that I’ve mixed “2 orders” (even though they’re the same darn special)?

    Thanks very much.

Probably get them back in 1 year instead of 5 months.. Also may change you to re-sort and re-enter.. Don't be lazy because you didn't follow the rules... Do it right!

Also, are you saying that you packaged them BEFORE you entered the cards into the submission center?? You need to put the printout in the package.... And if you have two different submission numbers (for pre and post 95/96), the box opener is going to expect to find two stacks of cards LABELED with the respective submission numbers.. If anything, your cards will be thrown against a wall and driven over with a forklift before grading if you do what I think you say you are doing!!!

Also, rule #1 is that the cards are supposed to be SORTED in the order they appear in the submission... So you FAIL hardcore ;)

You pick one, 95 or earlier or 96 and later and then when you enter the card if it is outside the date parameters it will block you and say you cant include this card in this submission. I accidentally tried to include one from the wrong year and it kicked it back. You can put multiple orders in one box. But then you are going to have to package them as you listed them with each order, all 95s and earlier together, all 96s and later together. You will have to package your cards together as they appear on your forms or they will charge a fee, maybe 5%, for them being out of order and the extra handling time to correct the issue.

Thanks fellas. I’ve repackaged it. I’m not a frequent submitter, I’ll admit, but I still think its a little confusing that the Special says “Any” years but it’s actually 2 different orders/minimum required.

You're not alone... I had already prepared a stack of cards that included two cards older than 1996, so I can to pull those out. Luckily I hadn't started the packaging process yet. Packaging is the last thing I do when preparing a sub.
