No. And you didn't answer my question.
I don't see the need!
Of course not. Because you don't, in fact, know that other people are not doing the same as you and it's easier to not answer than to say that your original claim was just made up.
All I will say is I didn't make a claim unless of course you are claiming everybody else does vote with their wallet!

There are many ways to approach ebay with your wallet. For instance before they gave all the free listings like they do now. When they raised the listing fees I reduced the number of listings I had from 2-3,000 down to the store subscription level of 500. I finally went along with the 1% promotion fee which they just doubled so now I am not promoting my listings. I stopped getting the top rated discount when they started requiring the ridiculous 30 day free returns requirement. If that's not voting with my wallet I don't know what is.
You implied other people weren't voting with their wallets:
"If only more people would vote with their wallets!"
You have confirmed that you are, what makes you think they're not?
I'm not sure why you're dragging me into this. But, since you called...
Let's see, you are intentionally doing less business on ebay in order to punish them for enabling your business on ebay. And you would like others to vote with their wallets so you do even less business on ebay. Is that about right?
I'm personally hoping in the second half of the year to pay ebay double what I paid them in the first half. I'd happily pay them triple or quadruple, but I can only pack so many items in a day.
Margins are close enough as it is in this business. I have other outlets other than ebay! In fact, if ebay reduced their fees not so much instead of raising them I bet their volume in sales would go up quite a bit. Maybe not for other categories but IMHO for sure in the coin categories.
And ebay fees are lower than they were 2 years ago...
And you were always offering 6 months returns to anyone who paid with PayPal... even on the BST.

. Good point , as much as I hate paying taxes, from a young age my mother always told me she would rather earn money and pay taxes than not pay taxes and earn no money. She was a wise woman.

Exactly. I paid more in (business) taxes last year then I ever have.
A very rich friend of mine asked, " I bet that pissed you off"
My reply was actually that I was happy to be paying more in taxes than ever before
Ebay is a both fixed (store fee) and variable (FvF, shipping) selling expense project. I have more than made expenses / good gross margin but sales volume there lags vs shows. Tons of competition. Shows able pick up good slab material at bid (key contacts). eBay nuk and shill bidders can present a barrier. One needs to sit down and do their homework.
Shows are a fixed selling expense (table fee) project. One big spender customer buying good margin material bingo I have cleared my expenses. At shows I can sell less expensive stuff under $50 for at least 50-100 pct profit. Sometimes public has good deals buying from them.
For me it’s like the spread offense in football / making big plays with lots of yardage. Buy it right / get good money for it when sell.

If you say so.
It appears everyone voted with their wallets... only problem is they were voting FOR ebay.
In an earlier comment, somebody here seemed to think it's not everyone. He appears to be backing away from that now, though.
So backing away from the claim you implied?
PS, love the way you castrate posts to make yourself look honkey dory!
Ya think? I know quite a few who have abandoned ebay!

I know people who voted yea and people who voted nay. Majority wins. It need not be unanimous.
I didn't name anyone. Interesting that you saw yourself in it.
Many over Managed Payments.
The Managed Payments forced hostage situation really sucked and turn away many great sellers because of the absolute BS.
Effing Managend Payments F'd again with me today. What a fricken Nightmare MP is...
Interesting. I've never had a problem.
@ErrorsOnCoins tell us more about the problems with managed payments.
It was a bit of a challenge getting my bank account linked up but once that was done, Managed Payments has worked just fine for me.
I know it's OT but
@ErrorsOnCoins what are you having for dinner
