What happened to this 1972 Penny? Wedge Shaped

Hey guys! I found this odd penny, it is slightly wedge shaped with one end thicker than the other. Please look at the pictures and tell me what you think. Is it a mint error?

Likely a minor misalignment of the dies so that they were not in parallel. I believe I have a few of these from the early 70s squirreled away someplace.
Interesting IMO, but just minor process variability. Nothing special
