It's an NFL rule that NFL players aren't allowed to appear in beer commercials, but Patrick Mahomes and Coors Light found a way around that rule.

Aaron Rodgers wishes he was this clever, but that's none of my business.
That's just Awesome...Yep that's pretty cool...
Well, I didn't know it until now, and I really don't care......But what really bothers me is that The Old Milwaukee Swedish Bikini Ski team was banned from doing NFL beer commercials...... Long ago. I've never got over it......anybody around here old enough to remember this..........
Ahh,....The Good Old Days!......
I don't know how to download videos to post.....BUT.....If you want to see the best Frickin' beer commercials EVER! that were shown during NFL games,.....go to YouTube and search ....Old Milwaukee Beer Swedish Bikini Team: "Truck."........ They were the best! but they got banned because some people don't like good stuff! 😫

Ok, but if the Lovely Mrs. Hydrant catches you watching videos of Swedish women in their beer panties, I won't be held responsible!

Tom Brady Samuel Adams!
Shoot, I remember when a bar in Wisconsin had a special beer on tap, in honor of Aaron Rodgers, those were great times.
I had no idea about the beer commercial thing.
That Coors Light one is Clever lol
Nothing beats the mugs on the St Pauli girl
NFL players not being able to hawk beer has been a long standing agreement. Not sure if it was Farve who appeared in a commercial in the off-season cementing that he had finally retired for good.
"I spent 50% of my money on alcohol, women, and gambling. The other half I wasted.
So NFL PLAYERS can't make money from Beer commercials but the NFL itself has no problem taking money from Beer Companies for promotion? Hmmmmmmmm......
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
They think they are the PGA tour.
I hate it.
Yes it is hypocritical.
The NFL takes money from beer.
They don't let their players make money from beer.
My take might be different than most.
I think that this Mahomes/Coors light workaround is despicable.
They already find enough ways to market alcohol during games. So do we need another?
All of these rich companies have plenty of ways to flaunt the rules. I'm sure this will be a new trend.
Some big brains sat around and said "..." . You fill in the blanks for yourself, I guess.
Have any giant-named athletes turned down alcohol deals? Is there a list somewhere? Maybe more specific is better. Is there a retired NFL athlete who turned down all alcohol-related endorsements?
These guys are in a huge position of power. And when you are in positions of power you can push the narratives The idea of pretty much taking any huge endorsement is a holdover from the days of "low" salaries. Mahomes doesn't need the money. Nor does Romo on that island. Etc.
One reason this sticks out to me is the way they went out of their way to make it all about beer, while making it "not about beer".
like setting up a bar at a baptism
Glad you're back, Showman!
