With the current pricing structure I would not send them in. If it gets cheaper I might consider it but it really depends. For example my Dad bought me 3 or 4 cards in my life and I had them all graded, regardless of shape. I also had cards from his childhood collection graded, regardless of shape. He passed last year and I am glad I had them graded and protected.
Unfortunately since most of my cards reside in a safe I don't look at them as much as I should but when I do the cards mentioned above mean the most to me.

I would if the prices come down to $10-$15/card, but not at the current price point. I think you're looking at about PSA 4's on most of them. The Staubach would get a MC qualifier so keep that in mind. Brings the overall price point on reselling about 2 grades lower.
I'd say for resale no. But as mentioned, if they are just cards you love, might be worth it just to see them in the holder and appreciate them. I'm planning to spend $30 to get my 1980 Rickey Henderson from the first year I collected as a 7 year old graded. Its probably a PSA 2. But would just love to have it in a case. Maybe the Earl Campbell I found in the 50 cent pile at the first show my dad took me to. Probably PSA 2 territory as well. Got back a card recently that I always loved that was in my Christmas stocking when I was a kid. Completely worth the grading fee to me. If its sentimental just have to decide what its worth to you. I can live with $30 for a handful of my personal faves that I want to keep.
Absolutely not. No offense intended, but if people continue to submit cards with little or no value (other than sentimental) prices are never going to drop.

This guy submitting 4 cards isn't going to effect prices. Collectors submitting a cards isn't the problem. People submitting ultra modern cards that have a perceived value that is feeding upon itself seems to me to be the problem. I haven't looked at the numbers in a while, but, 2018-2022 may be the most submitted years ever. Players with no proven track record. I don't think collectors are cracking ultra modern rookies and deciding to send them all to PSA thousands at a time. If people were only submitting cards with sentimental value there wouldn't be a problem.
