Question about finding the actual price of a card

1999-2000 Skybox Dominion KOBE BRYANT Gameday 2K #2 Out Of 20 RARE LEGAND And I have seen the price jump from $15 to $1000? How do I find the actual price? I have collected with my grandpa for years and never worried about pricing but he passed and left me part of his collection and now I am trying to figure out what I have

Looks like unless you have a graded version of the “warp tek” variation, it’s a $5-10 card raw judging from recent sales data.

There is no such thing as an actual price.

If you go join a Coins and Currency group on Facebook. People argue over the value of dollar bills.

I don't know if you have ever watched home shopping channels selling coins. They sell 2022 quarters for 5 dollars.

Completed listings on eBay are full of shill bids and fake sales.

It's about what it's worth to you. Everybody values their money differently. When you buy a card, at the same time you're selling your money for the card. The transaction is an agreement between two people. Each valuing what they have and arriving at an agreement.

Still the best way to determine the value of your card, IF there are several "Sold" items.
