I heard the Cleveland Browns want to sign him.
Sounds good to Bobby, but only if they're willing to sign him through July 2060, and he doesn't have to play at all, terms non-negotiable!
Damn, forgot about that - laughing all the way to the bank.....

Happy Bobby Bonilla Day everyone, only 13 more years until he's off the Mets payroll!
And do you know who the Mets financial advisor was for this deal??

"Believing they were poised to make a significant profit through their investments with Bernie Madoff, Mets ownership instead agreed to defer Bonilla's salary with 8 percent interest and spread it across 25 years from 2011-35."

I always wondered how Bobby got that sweet deal.
{ with 8 percent interest and spread it across 25 years from 2011-35.}
So with the interest, I wonder how much actually the Mets have to pay??
