Taiwanese commemorative coin for Sun Yat-sen, valued at 100 yuan (Taiwanese dollars I assume).

The date on it is Year of the Republic of China 54, month 11, Day 12. Which I believe correlates to November 12th, AD 1965. Which is the exact centenary-date of Sun Yat-sen's birth.

It is one of the few Taiwanese cirulating silver coins; .750 fine silver. The face value is equivalent to about US$3. Unslabbed AU catalogues at around US$30; the scuffing on the high points on this one would disqualify it from an MS grade, IMO.

Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.
    Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius, "Meditations"

Thank you both. I found a 4 piece set online and a bunch of the 50 Yuan as single examples. I appreciate the help.
It's quite a looker in hand... big, shiny & silver cartwheel!

The issues on the high points are not wear and this would be considered MS, just fyi. Looks like an MS64
