Can anyone identify this?

Hello! Can anyone help me in identifying this autograph? This ball was found at a second hand store, and try as I might, I cannot seem to find any info on this or if it’s even a legit autograph. Thank you in advance!

    Gene Budig ball, seems game used, he was president of the American League from 1993-1999.

    Who wore #30 during that time?

    I'd start with that universe of people.

    Thank you, that’s really helpful! I’m guessing that first initial is an A, or a C, perhaps a G? Second initial maybe a J? Scouring through player lists who wore #30…
