Maybe you look at me and you see a failure. That’s cool. I see something a hell of a lot different.

#LetsGoSwitzerlandThe Man Who Does Not Read Has No Advantage Over the Man Who Cannot Read. The biggest obstacle to progress is a habit of “buying what we want and begging for what we need.”You get the Freedom you fight for and get the Oppression you deserve.

I skimmed through it and from what I read it still doesn’t change my opinion of him NFL wise, he was a bust and that’s the bottom line.

He was a number 1 pick in the draft and was terrible.

Whatever the reasons are that is irrelevant because it does not change a thing NFL wise. Same thing with all the other high draft picks that didn’t work out, nothing personal 🤷‍♂️

I don't seek out articles on the players tribune, but over the years I have come across some great ones. I don't necessarily put this one into that camp, but I will make a few comments. I'm happy for him if he's happy. I'm happy if he doesn't feel defined by the "bust" label. We all get to a certain age and, if we are blessed, we can look back without having the memories paralyze us. I ad.ittedly messed up a lot of opportunities that I had, so some might see me a a bust myself.

If we are strictly talking football, yes, he was a bust. Lack of work ethic, known for flying back and forth to Vegas, lying to coaches about whether or not he watched tape, and obviously done in by drug addiction the same way every addict is. A sad story. I'm glad that he seems to be in a better place apparently.

He can say whatever he wants. The only story about him I need.
QB coach gave him a tape to study after practice, at home. The next morning he proclaimed he studied it. He was given a blank tape.

    Any questions?
