    The eyes tell all.
Forget every other reason the coin is a reproduction...
Just gaze into those eyes as they look forward and notice the difference.

@SlickCoins I think your coin is real. Don't listen to those who say otherwise. They are just jealous that you have this very rare coin. I suggest that you send it in to PCGS to get it authenticated, graded, and slabbed. When it comes back, you can show it here and make those who disparaged your coin eat their words and you can feel vindicated. They will be begging you to sell it to them as they grovel at your feet. You can then laugh all the way to the bank.

I think he would have already don’t that, had he truly believed his own words.

No. Gallery Mint repros are made from hand-engraved dies, have much better detail, have enough different from the originals about them that they're easily distinguished, and have a "copy" stamp. This is some other cheap fake.

Ok, so we have a genuine coin that is the wrong weight, wrong thickness, wrong composition, wrong edge, [ no edge ornamentation], struck in a collar, [which wasn't in use at this time], wrong color for an over 200 year old coin, obverse and reverse dies that don't match any genuine dies, I can't see one single thing that is "right". Your comparison pictures are great by the way, they really emphasize just how wrong this "coin" is!

Dis prove the mark where the leaf sprig is and I'll change it back to counterfeit.

Prove me wrong with an overlay and I'll change it back to counterfeit.

    Thanks all

To be honest I haven't been wow'd in the same way I try and wow you all.

Where do I start,, oh how bout it's not pure copper or how bout the plain edge, why stop there let's add in the weight 9.44 grams.

The "condition" & being red as noted

I think maybe it's a pride thing where you all can't be wrong,, you all are super smart and paid your tuition, I'm pretty much a nobody and didn't read your books.

Oh and to quote another I pretty much just make this stuff up as I go.

    IDK did I miss anything
Maybe one major thing,, I think it's like the cleaning rule to where it you're not sure if it's been cleaned or not,,, just mark it cleaned for safe measure, whereas if you are not 100% sure it's genuine be safe and mark it fake. JMO
    Thanks

    @SlickCoins
Why do you keep posting fake coins?
Do you think you will fool someone here and sell them a fake that you bought for cheap?

You know how to post photos and do comparisons.
Please do something more constructive with your skills.

You all really think they would really do all this to a counterfeit coin to then sell it for $1.50?
    Yeah I've got questions.
    Why not make more?
    Thanks all

The design doesn't match that of any authentic examples. It must be the only one they made.
The weight isn't correct for the issue. It must be the only one they made.
The composition doesn't match contemporary pieces. It must be the only one they made
The edge is plain instead of designed(that is the only counterfeit protection these coins have). It must be the only one they made
The surface texture is about 150 years ahead of its time, the mint must have invented EDM to make this coin.
The person you bought it from who sells fakes and told you it was fake is a dirty liar. I mean, he sells fake coins after all.
The logic is truly without flaw.

Your coin is unique, and priceless. Don't let it go for one cent under $4 mil. Better act fast before all the cheap repro's of this coin start to flood the market.

Your comparison images between your POS example and a genuine one prove yours is just that and not authentic.
