Yaaaaay! My submission went to QA.

I know it doesn't really mean anything but my midMarch submission went to QA today. Last time it was still 2 to 3 weeks, but at least it's moving that way. lol

They're probably just yanking your chain.
Just kidding...
I have 5 submissions delivered in February and 1 submission delivered in early March that are still in "grading".
I have some additional coins I want to submit but will not do so until after all of my current submissions are returned to me (with grades that meet or exceed my expectations
).
I've got another batch to submit in August, but I will no longer trueview them as it just not worth the extra 2 to 2 1/2 months for something I always thought was done before being placed in the holder. If so, why then the 2 month delay after receiving the coins in slab? I can't see the time constraint regardless of personnel to enter them into the computer which should all be lacking after the coins are graded. I have this sneaky feeling it is a personnel/software problem, but then that's just me.

Mind if I ask what your next step / alternative would be if the grades do NOT meet or exceed? Does NGC become the fall back option, or do you wait to submit to pcgs when you feel the grading has loosened? I sometimes get frustrated with pcgs grades and don’t always know what the right answer is for the coin.
Good on ya.
I got my (received - ) 2/9 sub back recently. It sat in QA for a while tho (and I still found 2 errors that slipped thru - cust svc contacted).
My latest submission has been in QA for about a week now. I'm hoping grades publish soon!

1madman.
My next step if the grades on my current submissions do not meet or exceed my expectations would be to enjoy the coins as the are; review and evaluate them; compare them with Trueview photos of the same coins; and learn more so that I can increase my ability to evaluate coins that I am interested in.
Believe it or not, I called and spoke with someone(0 in line....whaaaat!) My submission is on the shipping shelf and should be done within the week. whoopee, I guess.

I have three submissions received April 20th.
One has been in grading since about a week in. The other 2 submissions are still just in the “received” status. What is up with that?
3 1/2 months is what the last 2 submissions I have had take till shipment and then another 1 and 1 1/2 months for tv's. I don't mind the submission time as much as the tv time.

What sucks more is that two of the coins complete one of my registry sets and it looks like they won't be done until after the 6/30 deadline for 2022 awards.

Today one of my economy submissions that was received on 2-22-2022 progressed to "Encapsulation".
Making some progress.
Make a call, md. Cannot hurt. Explain your situation and perhaps they will help you.

I have a Express croosover they received on 4/25, sitting in QA. My other Express coins went through within 20 days and they were received the same day. I got a email response, basically not telling me anything, what's annoying me the most is how they can charge me the Express service charge for regular service. I am pretty sure my 2019 S ERP ASE is crossing over, well it better if they are taking 2 months to do it. PCGS is so bad at customer service
Just found out the Express service is now 25 business days, up 10 from 15. Funny how they can change turnaround times without updating their site.
More progress being made on six of my submissions made in late February and early March 2022 (184 coins).
Two are now in "quality assurance", two have moved from "grading" to "encapsulation" and two others remain in "grading". I am hoping that grades on the four submissions no longer in grading will post within the next 7-10 days.
That sounds about right. I had an order go to encapsulation 2 weeks ago today and it just went into QA a couple hours ago.
Also, I had two express orders received 6/6. One of them is already in the mail and the other moved into encapsulation yesterday. So express, at least for me, is moving along pretty well.
However I have two regular orders that have now been in grading for 45 and 53 business days.

Capital holders display coins beautifully and zero frustration factor.

Still in QA.

YMMV, but my recent Modern Value 27 coins were in QA about 3 weeks before Grades Ready, then I got them a few days later, early this month. TVs are coming in, but not all available yet.
My Modern Value submission received 6/2 was shipped yesterday, 6/16 - very quick turnaround!
As of today, tv's are one month behind coin delivery.
