Even Otani and Trout didn't make a difference - Maddon manages the Angels to 12 straight loses and he's out.................

The question now becomes, should the angels try to trade Trout?
seems he did a pretty poor job. 2 + years of below .500 ball
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
Who would want to touch his contract????? Maybe the Yankees. He's always hurt and just came off of a 0-26 slump with a hit last night.

Sometimes managers just ain't what they are made up to be. Look what Manny Acta did to Cleveland - they couldn't get rid of the guy fast enough. He was fine when the team was winning but he couldn't handle the pressure of losing and pretty much gave up.

So long Joe.
When your clutch centerfielder misses the cutoff man, allowing a runner like Verdugo to score from first on a single, which was the only run in a 1-0 loss, your team's 12th in a row, well, of course you fire the manager.

Looks like Trout followed him out, albeit Trout with an injury.
If I were the Angels, I would seriously consider trading Trout at this point. It appears that they will not be a winning team with him on it, and I would imagine they could get quite a haul of draft picks/young players in return that could help out in 3-4 years. their version of the Herschel Walker trade.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
