Here is an eBay charge that I have never experienced.

I sold an item earlier today and I only had one left so I raised my selling price by $25. 4 hours later the second item sells,,,,,,, GREAT!!!!!!!! I made an extra $25 BUT<<<<<<<<<<<< when I look at ebay costs I see I paid LESS in selling fee's for the higher priced sale????????
WHY??????? In investigating I find out eBay charge me $9.08 in an International Shipping Fee Charge on the 1st sale. Well, I only sell to USA to avoid the hassles of non-USA shipping locations.
BUTTTTTTTTTT, the address that I was a charged the International Shipping Fee is in MT,,,,,,,,, I didn't know that they succeeded from the UNION,,,,,,,,,,, turns out they didn't,,,,,,,, glad you guys in MT are still with us.
I called eBay and got my $9.08 back but it was a hassle as everything with eBay is.
The morale of the story is WATCH WHAT THEY ARE CHARGING YOU,,,,,,,,,, you never know what will happen.

Yea, you need to check everything over and over again. Also, credit cards. Especially If you have a PNC card you may need to check your account every day. Anything involving money is always a hassle. The more money involved the bigger the hassle.
International fee
If your eBay registered address is in an eBay global country, eBay charges an International fee if either:
The delivery address for the item (entered by the buyer during checkout) is outside your registered address country, or
The buyer's registered address is outside your registered address country (regardless of the delivery address for the item)

Yeah, this is probably what happened.
MasonG is correct. The eBay representative said something about the buyer having originally had a Canadian address. But they are now in Montana and their address is changed in eBay to Montana so not sure why the charge was added.
It probably has something to do with international payment processing fees, which would be necessary for buyers who live outside the US but have a US shipping address.

This is NOT your pre COVID ebay!
