2003-04 UD Exquisite LeBron signed (RPA) #78 just sold for record low of the past 6 months!! $264,000 only compare to "consistent price" of $1M. It's the hyped over?? or it's really because this card is "altered"?? I honestly couldn't tell how/why this card got an altered grade. it does look legit to me.

Being altered probably contributes a lot to that price. Could just be the photo but looks like the bottom isn't square. I am by no means an expert either though.

The bottom looks like it was trimmed.

A number of these have been identified as altered so thats a good buy, card is in good company with ones graded much higher.

One is not like the other. So yeah, it's going to go for a lot less. Not a good comparable example.

Come on now. This is an incredibly misleading title. People that have the kind of money to spend on a card like this would not go near that card for the most part. They'd hold on to their money for a "legit" one..

An altered 2003-04 UD Exquisite LeBron signed (RPA) just sold for... would be on the right track..

Not click bait at all. I find it fascinating. Consider what a Wagner went for with 40% of the card missing. This LeBron for 25% of the going rate seems a good deal.
