Rolly Romero talked major trash about Gervonta Davis for weeks leading up to this fight, Romero never even saw the left hand that cracked him.

Just a beautiful and vicious counterpunch from the southpaw Gervonta Davis, a joy to watch. Of course Gervonta Davis is nicknamed "Tank" and you can see why, he is one of the most dangerous punchers in boxing, he can end any fight with one shot from that left hand.

Very fast and vicious punch, you'll have to watch it a few times to fully appreciate the beauty of it. I love hard punchers, a true puncher is the rarest of breeds, vicious killers that can destroy an opponent and leave them lifeless with one thunderous shot.
Check out this uppercut that Gervonta Davis hit Leo Santa Cruz with, turned his lights out.

It's a figure of speech in boxing, of course I don't want anyone to die. Hard punchers don't come along too often, this guy gets the juices flowing, kind of like Julian Jackson did.

I had to rewind that about three times before I actually saw the punch myself. This story kind of reminds of this Tyson vs Green fight video I watched recently where Green talked a TON of trash only to get his butt whooped,twice.

Poor job by the ref not stepping in one and possibly two punches sooner. Ref should have been rushing in inserting his arm. Am I wrong?
Edited to add: the job of the referee and the corner men is very important, as we all know. The fighters are at their mercy. And a shout-out here to all of the great cut men through the years. Without them we wouldn't see these fights last nearly as long.
