    Grease filled die. Quite common.

    When you look at your microscope photo, you will see the ghost/faint "T". This definitely is a case of a grease filled die and you photo shows that. Keep the coin , a good example of a grease filled die.

    There are various degrees of this error. You can check the eBay sold listings to see what they sell for. Some other state quarters have some the same error. I like your coin. I have searched and searched but I have not found one of these errors yet.
