Hey, guys!.....I don't want to mess this thread up......but......I just thought of this!...Coin related! I think a big part of what got me started collecting coins were all the coins that my uncles gave me when I was a kid that they picked up during WWII.
I have binders filled with them. European, Chinese, Philippines, Japanese, North African, etc.......the best collection that I have of WWII coins was collected by my father-in-law. He was a merchant Marine and he was a coin collector. I have so many MS grade coins that he picked up in Peru, Chile, and Australia..... The Lovely Mrs. Hydrants Dad. What a nice guy he was.......He lost two fingers off his right hand when his ship was torpedoed off Australia!..... A wonderful man......R.I.P.
