Wayne Gretzky rookie card do I submit this as economy or? PSA 2, 3, or 4?

Hi I am not sure because of the crease by the front skate will this be a psa 2 or could it make psa 4. What service do I select to submit it as. Thank you for your help

    Beautiful card. Good luck.

The main factor here in choosing a service level is how fast you want it back. If you submit at $50 you will likely get an upcharge and wait a couple months to get it back. $100 and you should wait a month less than Economy but there's still a chance you will get an upcharge (depending on how bad the crease is). $150 and you get it back within a month with no upcharge.

Does the crease go all the way through to the back of the card?

4 is possible, 3 is more likely as they won't be very generous on a Gretzky RC. Damn shame because everything else about that card is just friggin' gorgeous...

Crease does not go thru. Its barely visible looking at the card. If you dont know where the crease is you wont see it by just looking at it. Its more magnified because of the picture. Thank you for your advice.

3.5 seems fair. Love that card.

Trust me, you would get more money if you sell it raw.

Interesting as I bought the whole set off a guy. Was thinking about selling this graded and then sell the set minus Gretzky so I can buy baseball cards. Just fell into this deal

I would buy the whole set with the Gretzky, if the common cards look like the one that you posted.

If that card is as good as it looks then you list it raw on eBay like this.

1979 opc Gretzky rookie. PSA 8 like quality except for minor wrinkle.

On the item description mention that it’s a small wrinkle and not a crease. If indeed it does not go through to the reverse, and if indeed it’s PSA 8 quality. Hard to tell from this picture.

If the card is that good, then it should sell higher raw then graded.

I could be wrong. Just my opinion.

The common cards are in as good shape or better for sure. The guy did store them in binder plastic sheets. Not sure how you contact me if your interested in the set?

Does eBay allow you to use "PSA" for raw cards, or is that considered keyword spamming?

Post your eBay link so that everyone can see.

It's keyword spamming (eBay generally doesn't seem to care nor remove listings for that) and also this card is on the restricted list but some slip on by and do sell raw.

    Restricted

You can list the following trading cards only if they've been professionally graded by a reputable grading company

    1909 Cy Young (T206)
1909 Eddie Plank error card (T206)
    1909 Honus Wagner (T206)
    1909 Ty Cobb (T206)
    1933 Babe Ruth (Goudey #53, #80, #144, and #181)
    1933 Lou Gehrig (Goudey #92 and #160)
    1951 Mickey Mantle (Bowman #253)
    1952 Mickey Mantle (Topps #311)
1966-1967 Bobby Orr rookie card (Topps #35)
1979-1980 Wayne Gretzky rookie card (O-Pee-Chee and Topps #18)
1986-1987 Michael Jordan rookie card (Fleer #57)
