    What exactly do you think you have there? Looks like environmental damage.

    What is the weight of the quarter I just weighed a 2005 West Virginia quarter and it was 5.73 G. Way this quarter and see if there's any significant loss of weight. The coin looks really nice kind of toned but the toning may be from environmental damage also. But it's a neat looking appearance for a quarter.
