I learned something interesting about the Dansco 7070 type album

There are varieties of these albums. I wasn't aware.
For example, the older large cents were referred to as Turban Head:
(Not my coins. Not my album.)
The newer additions have these Large Cents called "Classic":
(Not my coins. Not my album.)
I thought that was unusual. The font is different too.
I wonder if, down the road, like the first generation of PCGS and NGC slabs if these earlier albums will
carry a premium?
Does anyone here have one of these older-type albums?
If so, are there other differences between them?

Dansco is up and running, though short staffed. My LCS got in 35 of the 7070s
on Tuesday and sold me the last one Friday. Their supplier gets sporadic shipments
on their orders.
BTW, that 1835 Large cent is sublime!
yes and another thing..... That plastic will scratch and scuff your nice coins......
Be careful be very careful
I acquired mine in 1985, and it’s the newer (second) variety shown.
As for other differences, what are the last issues represented? Mine is the SBA dollar, where it’s listed as 1979 - .
How much were the new 7070 albums?
My first 7070 was in the 90's and it was like the 1st one and my 2nd 7070 is like the 2nd one. I had forgotten about that, but now remember it plain as can be. Thanks for sharing.

I paid $45 for mine. IMO a bargain.
