1975-1979 Hostess baseball complete sets on Ebay...there is only ONE complete set for sale!

Hostess cards have always been popular among collectors and they are quite tough to complete sets. Currently there is only ONE complete Hostess set for sale on Ebay from any of the years. There is a 1976 panel set for sale(NOT MINE), and that is the only complete Hostess set listed as auction or Buy it Now from any of the five years they were issued.

Think about that. Just one complete set for sale.

Talk about flying under the radar as being a tough issue to complete.

"1975 hostess set"

Then the same for each year

I searched just "hostess complete set". But I got at least one from every year, I believe.

My guess would be that you were searching within a category and some got missed.

I sets pop up fairly often. I had a hostess ebay search set up for a while, but it got old looking at the same stuff over and over.

Not as often as base Topps sets, but it would seem (unless people are flipping them) that there are a fair number of sets. Many I see listed are panel form too, not so much single cards.

Good grief. I figured it out. My search kept going to the "singles' category. I start search "ALL" and if nothing matching pops up then my next thing I type automatically goes to the "singles" categry. I din't change any settings or anything.

No wonder one time I was searching Ebay to find some of my stuff to see how it showed in search results and some never showed up in my search listings...because of this 'glitch'.

Thanks for the catch. Still such a small amount of sets as those look to be the only ones and maybe a couple others.

And I'm always looking for Hostess sets and stuff.

I always do "Hostess Set" and add the given year
"Hostess Box"
"1978 Hostess Murray" etc

I probably missed out on seeing a few listings this past year WTH.
