Too bad it wasn't the 1989 issue.

    Disembodied Heads are creepy.

It's the singer not the song - Peter Townshend (1972)

It is actually a 1990 Topps Heads Up. It would say (c)1989 on the back of it if it was that rare issue, but you said 1990 so we’ll go with that.

Here are the recent sales.. Nothing in the last year. Leaning towards no on the grading at the current prices.

Both the 89s and 90s come in packs with the sucker embedded. Are they not graded without the sucker ? If the sucker is removed is the item altered.

I’ve never seen the sucker in the slab. If it didn’t come with it in, no altering if it is removed, just possible card damage around the hole. The PSA 4 sold in my post above has hole damage from the sucker.

    Cool card nonetheless!

It is in the cards in the packs. Obviously suckers were inserted in cards before packaging but originally manufactured with out. I guess you could get/find them cut from sheets without the suckers prior to distribution, but if you got them in a pack the sucker had to be removed to slab it. Altered ?

You can peel the protective coating off of cards (such as Topps Finest) and they are not altered. Just graded with and without the coating. I don’t see removing the sucker as altering and apparently PSA doesn’t either since they are graded that way.
