American Express Points & Junk coins

I have accumulated a lot of American Express points and was doing some browsing in the online store. I was surprised at how many cheap gold plated, or "tribute to..." coins there were.

I suppose there are folks selling garbage all over the place! Now, how does one even get the thought to sell in the American Express online store?

This was only $20.70!

    Let the points accumulate. Every few years I take an international vacation courtesy of AMEX.
