How to turn off notifications for a certain thread?

I’m tired of getting notifications from the “This forum needs some humor” thread… does anyone know how I can turn off the notifications for that specific thread?

    I do NOT know how to disable "popups" for a specific thread, but you could always change your general preferences.

    Step #1 - Go to your "profile page". To do this, left click (LC) your 'name' on the tool bar.

    Step #2 - LC the "edit profile" icon to the left of your picture. Then LC the "edit profile" drop-down.

    Step #3 - LC "notification preferences".

    I am GUESSING that "popup" is currently checked for 'bookmarked discussions', or 'discussions I've participated in'.
