SO-CALLED DOLLAR Books available

I have Hibler and Kappen's SCD 2nd edition. Looking for something updated. Is there a 3rd edition or newer book? I found the SO-CALLED DOLLARS FROM THE PACIFIC COAST EXPOSITIONS by Shevlin and Hyder, but isn't it only the 6 pacific expositions and would only cover their coins? I would like a book that covers all the SCD issues, if possible. Any help?

The 2nd edition of SC$'s is the best you'll get. To help yourself after that will require some effort, like reading all the threads here and searching for anything you can find online. There is "National Commemorative Medals of the United States" by William Swoger that would have limited information about SC$'s struck by the Mint , but it's very pricey and near impossible to find.

If these medals interest you the best route past what I mentioned above is self-education, hours and hours of it. Collecting them is not for the faint of heart and things have gotten competitive during the past 20+ years.

I do not wish to collect them other than occasionally. I have a dozen or so, maybe more. I just happened to run across a 1906
San Francisco Earthquake SCD that I didn't even know existed and I bought it. So I figured as old as my copy of 2nd Ed SCD book is I might better update myself if possible. Thank you for your help, @Maywood.
