1961 Topps (Baseball) …. Blackless? Is this a real thing?

While sorting and organizing some ‘61s from a recent pickup, I found three that didn’t have any black print on the front. Are these an acknowledged variation? If they are, can anyone help me with an approx value here?

Sure enough there are a couple listed on eBay, but not sure if their listed prices are realistic or extremely far fetched.

Here are the three I found. They aren’t in bad shape, with the Brother Battery card being the better of the three.

Really appreciate any help I can get on these!

They look like they were printed w/o black ink, just as you described. I have not heard of these specifically being noted, but there are endless variations of print defect cards that made their way into the market over the years. Cool oddball for most, maybe a few hardcore collectors who might fight over them. Unless you catch the right situation, would guess most wouldn't sell for much more than a few bucks, although right now it certainly seems like everyone buying cards is crazy with endless pockets and willing to pay whatever it takes to win. Now would be the time to try to sell them if that was your goal.

I collect Steve Garvey, Dodgers and signed cards. Collector since 1978.
