Not my area of expertise so I'm looking for a little help with this Large date 1821 Bust dime. Opinions are appreciated!! Does this look like a JR-2 to you?

No, the position of the scroll relative to the D on your coin, is not the same as on the JR-2.

i appreciate your opinion! What is going on with the obverse at 8-9 o'clock? A cud?
Hard to say in this grade. Could be a cud, could just be wear.
BTW, it is a JR-1 which is R-2.

.
what would you say is one of the best current die marriage/state references to figure out if a retained or actual cud exists on the obv of that marriage?
