Page 1 of my Lincoln Set - Dansco Album

WindycityWindycity Posts: 3,524 ✭✭✭✭✭

Have had a great time over the years putting this set together... upgrading when ever I found a nice coin. Wasn't out to build a registry set, just and old-fashioned Dansco album of raw coins. Here are images of page one of the book.

Great looking set! It’s great to see albums filled with high quality coins like this. I have a Lincoln album I love too but the grades on the first page are much lower than yours. It seems you took a lot of care assembling your set. Were a lot of the coins cracked out of holders?

After investing way toooo much money in my regi9stry sets I have go9ne back to collecting RAW coins for way less $$. Something that I can just give to my granddaughter rather than leaving her set(s) that will require a trustee to manage.

I was thinking the same thing. I for one could never buy a raw S-VDB. I'm not good enough to tell a real one from a fake.

All raw - nothing broken out of holders. Put together over about 35-40 years.
