Did ebay eliminate PayPal?

I just won an item, and yesterday it had PayPal as an available option and now it is not available. Even looking through all of my old purchases it does not show PayPal as an option for payment in any of them nor can I find a single eBay listing that currently shows PayPal as an available option. Is this a glitch or is this something I was unaware of?

.
if someone has the option to pay with paypal on ebay, it is the first i've heard since ebay switched to managing their own payments.
i was thinking about this the past few days. i can see the companies parting ways/being split but to not allow it as an option is weird as, in and of itself, it is just a digital payment middleman that still MANY sites/options use for what it was designed for, so like always, it seems like the big ebay machine STRIVING to control its members, well because its britches are big enough to do so and nothing more, although i'm sure they are plenty of people vested in ebay to argue the counter. (it is not an uncommon trait amongst big corp but tbh, ebay tries harder than most.
my unsolicited 2c on the matter.
I have some stuff I am selling, not coin related. And it's no longer an option on my selling page.
I went and did a buy it now on a low priced item but didn't complete the purchase, it too has no paypal.
Well, this sucks if that's new.
It takes Google Pay, which I wont use.
I won an auction on eBay today at 530 and paid immediately with PayPal
PayPal is a payment option when purchasing shipping labels.
Paid for multiple items this week already with paypal on ebay

No interruption here, always paid with Paypal.

i too specifically looked for the option but couldn't find it when making listings (various non-coin categories) but i did still see the money order and check option. the managed payment method is not an option as it is now default.
anyone with paypal as an option MAY be accounts that never choicefully switched over and therefore a glitch that the software didn't catch. i am pretty sure i ended up manually agreeing to the swtich on the last day before my listings were to be removed until i did agree. i may go tinker on one of the accounts i haven't used in a long time to see if it is an option, for entertainment purposes only.
Maybe it's being rolled out, because no, there is no paypal as of now.
The option has been there for years, even yesterday.
I just won an auction and went to pay, and PayPal is missing.
Funny how times go. You HAD to accept PayPal in the past to sell there, and now it's not even an option?
I'm starting to think eBay will kill itself with its own greed. There has to be a better way

PayPal was always a payment option within managed payments. At least until today. You are confusing buyers and sellers.
appears sellers are losing their option of paying through PP. Shouldn't matter, the smart buyers were using credit cards via PP for the added protection and the CC rewards. They can continue using the CC.
It appears to not be an option at the moment. Have to see if it is just temporary.
There's a notice on ebay that they are having trouble with the payments and they are working on fixing it.
my PP option "disappeared." I do see Google Pay for the first time.
iirc, this isn't the first time ebay has wrestled with paypal even though ebay bought them back in 2002. i've watched this list off/on for a couple decades now. here is what they are purported to have paid. $1.5×10^9 = 1.5 times 10 to the 9th. (that's 9 zeroes)
only JUST because i did a spreadsheet after watching a family of around 7, 2 parents 5 kids do some canning in their new house (i finished the spreadsheet just before this post). the goal: can enough for 1 year's worth of food!!! see the exponents used in lieu of what it used to show made me think of sharing this useless info below.
so, i wondered. what if each child had 5 more childs each with no deaths until each had more childs.. each generation is multiplied by 5. the parents can die but not until the kids are able to fend successfully enough to produce 5 more each. (this doesn't take into account the deaths of parents and so these numbers don't reflect how many people will be walking around at any given time, as that would require a bit more work and i was just having fun. 5 kids, 25 grandkids, 125 great grand kids, now referred to as 1x grand, 2x grand etc. so by 400 hundred years (13x gen), if 30 years is a genration (i gave them ample time to build/acquire a house and land to support all these idiots (lol), their family tree contains a bit under how many people we are purported to have as of this time we life in with just one more gen (14x) bringing our pop to well over 35 billion, just in under 400 years! so, in 1000 years, we have produced but not necessarily living on the earth obviously due do deaths of age, around 10^24 (24 zeroes)! - i could go on quite a bit from here but i'm sure i've bored you enough.
I'm lost. And my head hurts.

aside from non-coin part of my post, i posted the link to the ebay page and companies they acquired (paypal specifically) because of the irony of how many times over the past couple decades ebay has added/removed (or tried to) paypal as a payment option to now, finally eliminating it at least from being listed as an option from the seller side. (which makes NO sense if people are still able to select it as an option as a buyer)
that makes MY head hurt.
I paid for an item on eBay just a hour or two ago with PayPal.
I just put an item in my cart and went to checkout and Paypal was an option

I bought something on eBay yesterday evening using PayPal.

It was just a temporary glitch which may have been on PayPal's end according to some internet chatter.

I'll add to the stats. I just bought a coin less than 3 hrs ago and paid with Paypal. It's the only way you can use AMEX on ebay for those who want to know.
Just paid via PP a few minutes ago on eBay with no issue.
Problem was resolved last night Sometime around 1030 eastern.
It appears lost pp as option when went to managed payments ages ago. So now I pay for eBay purchases with a credit card. Shipping labels deducted by pp then that money deducted from my business bank acct.
The only way I have paid for an ebay auction since paypal started was paypal, including 2 items today. Regardless of the new management system of ebay's.
