Solid star and 2013 short run star note.

Two good finds yesterday:
2017 F solid "filled" Star note.
2013 J Star note (this is a harder star note to find bc it has only one run of 250k)

    Thanks Steve!!

  • I like that Solid Star, I found one awhile back too and put it away. I was trying to find out if that is an official error (Over-inking?), or what it’s called (Solid Star?),and if it would be worth getting graded? I personally like it a lot, but don’t know if it would be worth the grading fee or what the designation/attribution would be?
    Do you know @Steve_in_Tampa ?

A Solid Star is considered an error, albeit not a very dramatic error. PMG notes it on the holder. A former note of mine.

  • Thanks @Steve_in_Tampa , I knew you would know!! I’m going to have to dig mine out and send it in for grading. It’s not in as great condition as yours, but if memory serves, it was still pretty nice condition, and good register.
    Thanks again!!
