The feud between Kyrie Irving and Celtics fans continues
Kyrie Irving and the Celtics fans are going at it again, very entertaining feud, hope it continues!
“F**k you, Celtics!”: Kyrie Irving caught showing the middle finger multiple times to Boston fans at TD Garden in Game 1 loss
Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving is seen showing the middle finger to a group of Celtic fans after he scored a tough bucket on Jaylen Brown.
The Brooklyn Nets ended the season as the 7th seed despite being favorites to win at all in the beginning. As a result, they were all set to face the Boston Celtics, which is Kyrie Irving’s former team, in what is seen as one of the marquee matchups of the first round of the NBA playoffs.
Ky and the C’s obviously have a lot of history. The 6’2 guard is welcomed with boos and jitters every time he comes to the TD Garden. While most of the hate is unwarranted, Irving has done his fair share of disrespectful actions. For example, stamping the C’s logo at the Centre court.
Prior to the game, the 7x All-Star said that he hopes to clear the air with Boston fans and move on despite their troubled history. However, it seems like the pressure of the playoffs and fans booing got to him in the end.
Kyrie Irving flips off Celtic fans at the TD Garden.
With the game tightly contested at 82-91 with two minutes in the third quarter, Kyrie Irving let the occasion and pressure get to him. After making a tough 2-pointer about Jaylen Brown in the corner, Irving was seen showing the middle finger to a couple of fans while running back on defense.
It was unclear really what provoked the former Celtic to do something of this nature.
In fact. this wasn’t the only time, as he did a double-behind-the-head middle finger a few minutes later.
It comes as no real surprise, as Irving and Boston have a troubled history after he left to join Brooklyn alongside Kevin Durant a couple of years ago. While the C’s edged the contest on the back of a Jayson Tatum game-winner, Kyrie did his part, ending the night with 39 points.
Next time the Nets visit Boston, Kyrie will surely have a chip on his shoulder to prove the Celtics fans wrong. Also, one can expect the TD Garden to boo him louder than ever before.

Here is the video of the first incident.
Here's another incident in the game, the Celtics fans are letting him hear it, and he gives them the double middle finger behind his head.
The phrase you reap what you sow sums Kyrie up perfectly. Thank God that he never gave Boston the chance to pay him 35M+ a year.
In the three seasons that he's been in NY he's made over 100M to play a total of 112 games, including playoffs. This is the contract that he'll be eligible for this offseason and Brooklyn will give him it just because he's Kevin Durant's buddy.
2022-23: $42,350,000
2023-24: $45,738,000
2024-25: $49,126,000
2025-26: $52,514,000
2026-27: $55,902,000
Total: Five years, $245,630,000
35yr old Kyrie will be making 55M a season.

Any mr mister fan knows that
This is a very bitter and nasty feud we have going on here, check out this video of Kyrie as he goes back to the locker room.
is he 7 years old? middle fingers?
Kyrie Irving is very childish indeed, check out the gestures he made to fans at last night's game in this video, caution, viewer discretion is advised!
Kyrie is right in the top tier of the weirdest and high maintenance ball players
My associates have put together this video of Kyrie giving us the double bird, it is set on repeat with triple vision to give a psychedelic feel!

Kyrie Irving's dog picked him up from the game last night, I believe we have some footage of them leaving the stadium.
This final offensive/defensive sequence pretty much epitomizes Kyrie Irving the basketball player....
Superstar Kyrie so wanted to be the hero and stick it to all of Boston but the C's defense made him give it up and that led to a missed three by KD where this next clip pretty much picks up where that last one left off...
I can't decide whose defense was worse on that final play. KD or Kyrie? Durant never even looked at his guy once until he just scored the game winner and Kyrie's half hearted attempt of a swipe at the ball was just the cherry on top of his day of back & forth hand signals with the Garden Faithful.
And this last one sums it all up nicely lol, you know He's standing there thinking: "I Hate This Damn City.

Who wrote that top article? It describes most of the hate as "unwarranted"?
Yes, Kyrie got selfish on that last Brooklyn possession. There was also a lot of brick laying being done in this game, particularly the first half.
I can't seem to find the article again, but I think the hate towards Kyrie Irving is warranted, he stomped on the Celtics logo a while back, and that's about as disrespectful as it gets. By the way, the NBA has fined Kyrie Irving $50,000 for his shenanigans the other night.
.....
why not make it 500,000 so he can at least pretend like it stings?
I hear you brother, $50k is nothing to him, these rich athletes have become spoiled, they can have anything they want. I have learned over the years that the key to saving money is eating cheap, stockpiling potatoes is the smartest way to go.
As long as these spifs do not get physical, I think this is good. Back when i used to watch, I was always entertained by the Reggie Miller - Spike Lee give and take.
Weird game from a Kyrie vs Boston fans last night. Brooklyn was ahead for all of the first three quarters which quieted the crowd greatly during that stretch yet Kyrie was pretty much a nonfactor in this game scoring just 10pts in 40mins.
The Celtics player Payton Pritchard, who wear's Kyrie old jersey number, actually made a bigger difference in this game in less than half the time on the court.
