    Many times, with ancients, all your gonna find are uncentered ones. Many times it's the conditions they were minted in. Some were traveling mints with the military and many of those are wretched.

    But, thats the appeal with ancients. None are alike.

    Nothing wrong with uncentred ancients, but it does add a premium as some people are fussy about it. Sometimes I prefer uncentred as it adds character, depending on what’s on the flan. For these in particular, though, it’s almost as if uncentred was the default. If I get a full beard I’m happy.
