These are far more difficult to find than one might think. I seem to be rarely in the right place at the right time for buying opportunities...

    The 1916-1919 in high grade are very tough. An UNC 1917 is the rarest of the bunch despite a supposed higher mintage than the 1919.

    I had estimated this one to grade well within the AU spectrum- the Eagle and snake are well defined. I like the obverse strike which is in part why it was submitted- it graded AU58. I consider it a moral victory when I come across 5 Centavos that look like this- I don't have the 17 or 19 or 31
