So, Just Asking. How Long is Regular Grading Taking These Days at PCGS?

I'm really not trying to start a bashing or anything but I think it might help both their customers and PCGS if there could be some kind of status reports on the various grading levels (as CAC has done pretty well). I have about 14 U.S. coins in for regular grading that were received in early February. Any idea when they might see some action beyond "Scheduled for Grading"?

Very helpful @goldbully and thank you, I didn't know this was Out There. Looks like May sometime ...
Kind regards,
George
My standard submission done at FUN in early January had the grades posted Monday and coins arrived an hour ago:
I have had 15 there since December and Scheduled for grading is it. They are in as regular submission.
May sometime I'd guess.
Depends what you're sending in. I sent in some modern bullion and it flew through. My older, less easy stuff has been taking a bit longer. Definitely recommend using the online submission and making sure you get the right PCGS # if at all possible as it just makes things go smoother which leads to quicker times.
I have another World Regular order which just moved into grading yesterday after 5 weeks...but two of the items were brand new and did not have PCGS #s assigned yet.

Has it come to the point that we have to include our estate documents with the grading requests, so they know where to send the coins when they are done? How about our heirs' last wills and testaments, just to be safe?
Actually, looking at GB's post above, the turnaround times do not look extraordinarily long to me. Admittedly, it has been several years since I have submitted coins for grading.

Hopefully both companies catch up this summer.

Not renewing my Collectors Club membership until these long return times get better. I've received 3 reminders this week via email. LOL
I sent off my first submission back in October, and I got the results two days ago

Graders will tell us it only takes 3 to 4 seconds.
My crossover has been there 3 months and has been in encapsulation for 30 days. I wish they would leave the coin in Grading until grading is completed and when it moves to Encapsulation it only needs to be placed in plastic and QC'd. Some times coins go back and forth from Encap. to Grading, as has been stated by other forum members. Luckily, that has never happened to me. Everyone must realize that 60 days is actually 84 days as only business days are counted plus any holidays. It says so in your post @Goldbully but is covered by the little blip. So my 3 months is average for Economy at this time.
Thanks for the info. My other submission is Regular so only 70 days, whoppee! lol

Meanwhile NGC is at 19 days on regular and 29 on economy.
95 days on Regular as of today. What a waste of money.
Just got off the phone with Customer Service. I was told they will submit 'something' to a Supervisor and things should move right along. Two weeks ago I was told 50 days for Regular and today I was told 90 days. I have a dreadful feeling I won't see my customer's CC coins again.
I like to show them (my customers) the DIY way. Less hassle than playing liaison. I do have one particular customer who comes in every couple weeks , asking "are my coins done, yet?"
sorry.
Sadly, I don't submit a fraction of what he wants because as usual, they return in a genny holder. "Cleaned ". I try to tell them. It's their choice. But to PCGS' defense;

As a reference, I have an express order in that has been there already for 25 work days! Two other express orders were sent at the same time and they have been received back home for 13 working days!
Slow....... very slow.........
