1978 Yellow Penny or is it gold

The pictures make it difficult to see, but the one on the left is a yellow, orange golden kind of color. Different from all the other pennies. I know there were experimental uses in schools at one point. This coin is pretty mit,so I cant see where it was circulated. do you think these 1978's are worth grading? they are both 3.1 Thanks!!

Hard to tell from the pictures but most likely not worth grading. Copper is a very reactive metal can change colors based on its environment which is why there may be slight color differences.

Just ordinary cents. This "error" nonsense is really stating to get out of control.

Gold would be much heavier. Does no one take the time to learn the minting process anymore?

    They do also get plated.
