This happened in Texas, the coach didn't like the call, didn't like being ejected.

This was last week in Georgia. After an 8th grade basketball game (looks like girls). One of the teams ganged up on a ref. Thirty stitches.

they should go back to their video games.
That is despicable, what has gotten into kids these days? If I did something like that as a kid, I was grounded for at least two weeks, and I would do hard time in my room, and I always worked out because it made the time go by faster. By the time I was released, I looked ripped, I believe I have a photo around here some....ah yes, here we go.
Just ridiculous, that Coach getting all upset like that over a little kids game is just so stupid. The basketball game reminded me of the 120 B ( Gang Block at the jail )
That basketball referee beatdown video makes me sick, it reminds me of that time those two vicious hounds tried to jump Yoda.
Two thoughts:
1) Man, that ump stayed down a long time. Wonder if he hit his head or something?
2) I thought the kid was safe, too.
Really nothing new - Parents have been being idiots with their kids playing sports for as long as I can remember. It's just so embarrassing for the kids -
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
I was talking to my buddy last night who is an Athletic Director for a High School and he told me there is such a major shortage of referees and a lot of it has to do with them not wanting to deal with it due to the parents because they are so rude
so stupid. coach should face assault charges.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
The kids didn't seem to care, they just wanted to keep playing.
And another attack on an umpire.

Laurel city officials are crying “foul” after a Hattiesburg woman ambushed an umpire in the parking lot of the Sportsplex and “sucker-punched” her after a youth softball game on Saturday evening.
Umpire Kristi Moore of Ellisville got a black eye, and the woman who was accused of assaulting her — Kiara Nichelle Thomas, 32 — was handcuffed, arrested and charged a short time later.
Thomas was charged with simple assault — a misdemeanor — fined $422.25 and released after being arrested by Laurel police less than 20 minutes after the report.
Notice the attackers shirt.
Those were actually guys with mop-top hairdos so at least he saved some face by not getting jacked up by a bunch of teenage girls lol.
As bad as that was I've actually seen worse during a streetball game where two guys kept going hard at each other, talking sh!t, and one ended up running to his car to get his gun then chased the other guy out of there. Everybody ended up getting out of there pretty quick and I didn't hear any gun shots so homie running for his life likely got away.

I coached Little League 1 year and made it to the Championship game of the league tournament. Did I say I coached for only 1 year???? The parents were just brutal. A couple parents were completely cruel. I had a guy walk right into my dugout mid game to challenge me and I had to basically have him escorted off the premises. The league saw stuff like this in plain sight every game throughout the season and did nothing about it. Not just me; but to other coaches. Good leagues will have the parents take an oath with all the rules and if broken they are out and so is the child. Other badly run leagues can basically be dangerous and mentally cruel. Believe me....the kids see this and behave like the parents too.
In Spokane, we have a massive 3-on-3 basketball tournament every year. Thousands of players take over downtown. Fan behavior gradually got worse toward officials. A few years ago, they enacted a rule that teams can get technical fouls if their fans misbehave. It instantly improved behavior.
Years ago, when I coached high school football, parents used to hassle my wife during games about decisions I was making. Completely ridiculous.
