Tiger's slam irons sell for $5.15 mil

i consigned a couple of items in this auction myself and was quite pleased flabbergasted. it felt eerily reminiscent of the colossal leap that vintage and unopened took. it was the perfect storm -- pent-up demand from the panny, Tiger surfacing in this year's Masters, Tiger making the cut, so on and so forth. if you possess any TW cards and/or memorabilia, it might be a good idea to reassess where you stand today.

and if you'd like to see what a nice little ROI looks like, check out what the consignor of the aforementioned clubs paid back in 2010

Least with these they won't be cut up into pieces and placed in sports cards, like what is done to bats, jerseys etc. Should remain intact for historical significance. Wonder why Tiger would not of kept them for his trophy room?
