RIP Dwayne Haskins

Dwayne Haskins was killed Saturday morning when he got hit by a vehicle. He was 24.

    Always extremely sad seeing someone's life cut short at such an early age. RIP

    Update Haskins was attempting to cross the westbound lanes of Interstate 595 on foot when he was hit by a dump truck, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). Haskins was pronounced dead at the scene, and authorities said it was "unknown" why he was walking on the interstate.

    There needs to be more pedestrian overpasses. This happens way too much.

    Makes no sense. How many people need to walk across an interstate hwy between exits? Sad but something is fishy. It was 6:30 in the morning when this hapoened.

    Someone had posted elsewhere that he ran out of gas and was out of his car because of that. RIP

    The official police report said they had no idea why he was there so doubt the running out of gas story is correct. That could have quickly been determined by the police. It is under investigation. Said it would be 90 days before an official report would be released.
