Will PSA acknowledge the 2021 Donruss Football Error Insert cards?

I've been collecting some 2021 Donruss Football error cards ever since one of my kids pulled one on Christmas morning. They are pretty fun and really neat way to collect something that you actually have to search for and have not been super expensive.

QUESTION: what would it take for PSA to recognize these as error cards like they do with some of the other error cards that get that on the label? I initially though these might be 1/1 with just a sheet or two of mistakes BUT then I found The EXACT same Devonta Freeman error card which I think means there are at least 2+ of all of the wrong foil errors and at least 1 sheet of no foils, meaning this is something people could actually collect.

It looks like they ran some with no gold foil (like the Burrow OOTW and Waddle RR), reran SOME of them but they were reinserted upside down maybe and they got the foil of another card put on them.

Thanks for the help and your thoughts!

Anybody know of or heard of requirements for PSA to do the error label?

Error cards are usually something like wording changed on back, or incorrect stats that were corrected.
Missing a step like appling gold foil etc I don't think so.
    IMO..

These are not errors, these are manufacturing defects. If anything, it should grade as a regular card, but with a (PD) qualifier, print defect

  • hmmm, I get what you're saying but what about the infamous Frank Thomas NNOF? That was a print defect most likely caused by a piece of cardboard blocking the printing. The reason I think these are a little more than a print defect is that they are not one offs.

I don't know, maybe I'm off but they seem a little like the billy ripkens with white out, then fully corrected. Multiples got printed and corrected. Or the Frank thomas that was a print error too. These went from no foil prints, to wrong foil prints, to fully corrected.

You’re “off”, at least in terms of hobby definitions.

Terrible expample... The Billy Ripkens were printed on purpose...., and each variation of a FF fix was printed and released on purpose. The Football cards you showed were never printed that way on purpose, they were only done due to some sort of MFG error..... The Frank Thomas, while sort of same situation, but in this case the card is normal in all aspects except something was omitted (even if a blockage of the plate, the outcome presents differently) The football cards in question do not look normal, they look wack, so they are a misprint that doesn't deserve its own designation like the NNOF cards.
