I'm in QA1. My understanding from the notes is that means they are already sealed in the slabs and it will just mean one person has to double check the grades, then it goes to another person who makes sure labels are not incorrect. Anyone have an estimate of how long it takes from here. Cant tell you when it went it to QA1 because I tried to stop checking daily. Seems like it was at the grading stage for 4-6 months. But it moved from Grading to Step 5 to Step 6 reasonably quick. Because I stopped checking for two weeks and never saw it hit step 5. I submitted exactly 14 months ago.

Couldn't find the thread where people were reporting grades. Thought the title referenced Complete Through Date. Maybe blocked? Anyway, mine was a 14 monther so thought this fit. I started out with mixed emotions. But think I've decided I'm pleased. Especially after hearing horror stories of people waiting more than a year and getting horrendous results. I am disappointed with quite a few of these. But maybe not horribly disappointed. Not outraged. And happy about enough that it balances out more to the side of putting a smile on my face. It definitely puts me in a place to ponder a lot. This submission feels like a winner because it was $12 a card. Even at $20 a card, this is probably a loser. So if it ever did get back to $20, at that point I would have to be very selective. There is probably just a certain type of card that I would not submit again, even if another company was operating with a $15 fee. Pro Set Joe Gibbs and Buddy Ryan days are most likely over.

I think this works because I can look down a list and feel like man, these 4 stink and if the fifth is fine, okay. That works for me. For $12 a card. There are 105 cards here and I felt like 27 of them will be cards I like and value in my collection. It makes me wish that there was a place you could take some of these cards that you could get 2 to 8 dollars for and just shove them in a machine like those ones at the grocery store where your coins turn into a certificate and you can go to the cashier and get dollars. Looking over these again though, I appreciate that there are not many abysmal ones. But you know, there is no space in the house for a PSA 6 1989 Pro Set Sterling Sharpe. Saw something on another site, maybe it was for comic books and you suggest your minimum grade and if it's not reached, you pay a reject fee of and they just give it back. I kind of think that could work here. Sometimes, let's save the plastic. Enough to know it's an 8, not a 10. You tried. No slab needed.

Looking over these again, I feel like most only missed by one grade but it's an important grade. 1987 Topps and 1989 Pro Set in 8 or 9 is kind of eh.

My faves here are the 75 Bretts. I did feel like they were 7s in 2020 and 2021 but heard some were very surprised by grades post-tsunami. I was on some but think I can live it. I thought the 87 Topps Tiffany had some 10s. But it's okay to miss there. Love the 1984 Nestle PSA 10 Strawberry, the Larry Walker 90 Leaf PSA 10. As a group the most pleasant surprise was the Garbage Pail Kids. I had kind of lost interest in them. But right before I submitted I got into them. Think those did a lot better than I expected which I can't say about too many other groups. 1994 Stadium Club Bowman's Best refractors are cards I absolutely love and usually three 10s out of the batch would be great but one is Jeff Blake and one is Gus Frerotte. Ha ha. So wish Marino or Montana could have earned that. But 9s are a solid grade for those, especially at $12. Cool to get a couple Marvel stickers as 9s. 72 PSA 7 Aaron works for me. Did not think it was magnificent looking.

Have a $50 a card sub in the works so hopefully those are a little closer to expectations or more pleasant surprises. I'd like to think so since those were very carefully chosen feeling they were the best I had and could not miss the mark. Can try to post some pics of these when they come in on Monday.

Turnaround times are laughable at this point. They have actually slowed down. I don't care what ownership promises....it's a joke now. I will not be subbing anymore, at least until they get their pop tarts squared away, :|

PSA has, or had, that option. Some major submitters take advantage of that option because, as you say, who needs a PSA 6 1989 Pro Set Sterling Sharpe? Easier to sell it raw or just throw it away.

No wonder that PSA can’t handle the load. People paying to get worthless cards slabbed. They had no choice but to stop taking orders and raise prices. We brought it on ourselves and need to take the blame.

Thanks. I dont know how I missed it. Think I'm getting old. I aged a lot in the 14 months since I first submitted these. 😂
