The Padres traded third baseman D'Angelo Jimenez to the Chicago White Sox for outfielder Alex Fernandez and catcher Humberto Quintero.

Then San Diego acquired outfielder Brian Buchanan from the Minnesota Twins for minor league shortstop Jason Bartlett.

    I wonder if the White Sox will move him to shortstop, which was his position in the Yankees minor leagues
