legit description or throwing shade ?

We have all seen the listing of an ungraded card on EBAY were the seller simply says " see photo for condition " and that is it. My point is we can't see wrinkles and crease's for the most part .If l had a ungraded card for sale it would take 30 second's to mention any faults .Yea we can see the corners and edges but a little more info would be helpful . It seems to be more and more prevalent in the hobby .

I would message the seller for a more complete description.

I can understand this. I often buy merchandise at thrift stores to re-sell on Ebay, and I often sell collectible items that I'm not too familiar with (such as comics or records). I try describe them the best I can, but I certainly understand that hardcore collectors have their own vocabulary and expect very specific descriptions. I'm always willing to answer questions when asked. If the seller refuses to answer a legitimate question, I would either avoid the sale altogether, or assume it's a lower condition than it looks and bid accordingly.

For expensive cards, more detail is better, but for lower end stuff, especially if the seller has a bunch of stuff to list, it would take forever to do a full analysis of each card. Most sellers just use a template/reuse a listing and change the particulars. A high-res pic of the front and back is usually enough. For something else, if noticeable, there should be a separate pic of the flaw or a mention in the description. If you buy something and it has a flaw that can't be seen in the pic or the description, just open a return as not as described.... or just email the seller before bidding/purchasing and asking all your condition questions.
