Received a yugioh psa card today that looked different than other ones i got also with the lighthouse holo tech.
This psa case
1.felt thicker
2.front blue label background did not have a large psa letter imprinted
3.front top red border label did not have small psa lettering across on top
4.other psa cards i have back clear sleeves is a sheet lays on the back of the card but this psa card sleeve seems wrapped around inside the back of the card
5.top and bottom inside of the card plastic borders seems elongated leaving space top and bottom of the card unlike other ones i have fits nicely inside
- front and back right lower corner psa letter on the case is also different
Do i have a fake psa?

currently at work, ill post some once i get home after 10 but so far what i described does it raise any red flags?
Quite possible. There should not be any variation within the same generation slab.
You can get some pointers from the PSA label history guide linked in my signature.
Pic will be good when you leave work.

sure sounds like you got a thicker patch card slab with the internal fitted mylar. was it like this?? they use this slab for over/undersized cards that are either too thick or too thin to prevent damage. the sleeve holds the card in place. however, the mylar appears to warp/wrinkle around the card once sealed inside.

Yes! your slab looks like mine, same lower right corner psa logo style on the case and the mylar wrinkle. The only difference between this generation of lighthouse tech slab is behind the blue wavy label the large psa text is barely visible and theres no UV small psa lettering repeating across the top red border on front label. I have added pictures to top of the thread.
Nice etopps Jeter. That is a keeper.
When it comes to not having the UV small PSA lettering repeating across the top red border on the front label, that is normal. The latest ones do have that security feature in which PSA later added on the label - meaning I also have some without that PSA lettering repeating on the top red border. One thing that PSA has been consistent with is that there has never been an issue when stacking even the oldest holders onto the newest ones. It has always remained consistent in size - meaning there should be no overlap when stacked on each other.
I don't see anything that tells me yours is fake by the two photos you provided. Usually, the fake holders are the older style flips. The more plain looking ones. Very hard to reproduce the newest ones, with OR without the UV small PSA lettering repeating across the top red border.
Thank You!
